The 24-year-old then prepares to get ready for her morning training session, but before that there is the small matter of brushing her teeth and combing her hair before she packs her racquet bag and leaves home.
The reigning Olympic champ has a bus waiting to take her to training, and on the way she has breakfast which consist of two bananas and a juice box.
“This combo never lets me down,” she notes of her first meal of the day.
Once An reaches the training court, the first thing she does is her warm-up routine.
She then proceeds with some training drills, before catching the bus home and getting some lunch.
After her meal, the South Korean star burns those calories right away as she heads to the gym for strength and cardio training, before finishing her workout with a run.
An typically ends her day with a recovery and some leg treatment.
An’s first V-log (video-blog) also earned admiration from former Indonesian women doubles star Greysia Polli and Denmark’s women’s singles shuttler Mia Blichfeldt.
Polli was impressed by An’s English classes, which the shuttler is getting much better at.
At the Malaysia Open in January, An conducted her interview in English after she beat China’s Wang Zhi Yi in the final.
