Two icons of modern football, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, have reunited in a brand-new commercial released by the international toy giant, LEGO.
In the advertisement titled "Everyone Wants a Piece," which premiered last night, Portuguese star Ronaldo and Argentinian legend Messi are joined by two other global superstars: France’s Kylian Mbappé and Brazil’s Vinícius Júnior.

The creative spot features the four players competing to place the final LEGO piece onto a World Cup trophy model, which is their respective mini-figures.
However, in a playful twist, none of the stars manage to secure the final piece by the end of the ad.
This collaboration marks a significant moment for football fans globally. For the record, the last time Messi and Ronaldo shared the screen in a commercial was for the iconic Louis Vuitton "Chess" campaign in 2022, released just before the World Cup in Qatar.
The campaign coincides with LEGO’s latest sports collection, which includes specialized sets of the players and a 1,498-piece football model.
